© 2022-2024 Rusha Moon Bartlett

Rusha Moon (b. 2001, Seattle, WA) is an American visual artist and basketball player working across multiple disciplines. Currently based in Brooklyn, NY, and Seattle, WA, her work in the studio--as well as out of it (where she works to create alternatives to incarceration)--is guided by relentless inquisitiveness. She explores ideas of home, connection, urban space, and disruption while aiming to ask questions of her viewers, not provide answers. Her diverse body of work includes a range of 2D and 3D media, some of which is collaborative, allowing her to reciprocatively build her skills by learning from those around her. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). Rusha has exhibited in Philadelphia, PA, Chicago, IL, and Baltimore, MD; has public murals on display in Albuquerque, NM, Seattle, WA, and Baltimore, MD; and is working on publishing her second collection of essays.
